How long have you been writing?
I’ve been making up stories ever since I was a small child. I wrote some stuff in middle and high school but I didn’t really start writing seriously until my second year of college.
What do you write?
Primarily short stories. I have stories that I’d like to make into novellas, novels, or comic books in the future, however. Ultimately, I’m a prose kind of guy.
What kind of stories do you write?
Fiction, mainly. I like fantasy, science fiction, and psychological modern stories. And lesbians. You gotta have lesbians!
What are your favorite stories?
Dragon Ball, obviously. Besides that, too many to count, like Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Dancing in Cadillac Light, and The Chronicles of Prydain.
Who/What is your inspiration for writing?
Believe in or not, Akira Toriyama and Dragon Ball inspired me to pursue writing. Whoever writes the majority of the Tales series has also had an impact on me. My grandfather is also a writer, so I guess it’s hereditary.
What’s your general writing process?
I try to make short plot outlines and character lists before anything else. I feel like once I get those down, I can go from there fairly easily. Everything else is a secret.
Have you ever gotten anything published?
No, but I have submitted a few short stories to different publications.
Where can I read your stuff?
I’ll let you know when I figure that out.
Are you on DeviantArt?
No. Outside of the occasional forum posting and the journal submissions, I don’t have my stories on other places.
Do you take part in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)?
I try to, but I get busy with school and other projects.
Since you’re a writer, are you also majoring in writing?
Yes, and I encourage any writer to either take some classes or go to college. It will help build your craft.
